Scope

This specification covers the requirements for flexible single conductor motor lead and coil lead wire, rated for 600 volts, UL Style 3311 at 90ºC or UL Style 3279 at 105ºC. This cable meets the requirements of UL subject 758 and CSA C22.2 #127.

Application

This cable is suitable for use as battery cable, welding cable, motor leads, transformers, ballasts, solenoids, battery charger cable/power hook-up, and for the internal wiring of appliances and uninterruptible power supply systems. The cable is rugged and also acid resistant. Cobra's Battery systems cable is sometimes refered to as Coil Lead, Battery Cable, or UL 3311.

Special Feature

This cable is certified Halogen-free and is recommended for use in applications where non-Halogenated materials are required. The new 105°C rating means that you and your customers can utilize the same cable in many additonal applications.

Substitute For

Cobra’s UL 3311/3279 is a less expensive and environmentally friendly substitute for applications that require a 105°C temperature rating.
